Samsung demos Galaxy S26 Ultra’s privacy display in short video | Infinium-tech
Last month, Samsung teased that it would add “a new layer of privacy” to the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a new privacy screen feature. Now the company has shared a short video showing how it works – it can make the entire screen or specific parts of it appear black when viewed from the side, without affecting legibility for you.
Here is the video. In this case the entire screen is blacked out for any unwanted viewers when the Zero-Peeking privacy toggle is enabled. Interestingly, the phone has per-pixel control over this feature and can only black out notifications containing sensitive information.
You’ll be able to choose how to control it – you’ll be able to manually turn it on or off or let the phone toggle automatically, for example, when you go outside.
This feature is apparently so great that even Apple wants it – ice universe Says it will be featured on MacBooks in 2029.
Some laptops have a native version of it, for example HP calls it Sure View while Lenovo calls it PrivacyGuard. However, they can only enable it for the entire screen and not just parts of it, like the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be able to.

The Galaxy S26 series will be unveiled on February 25 (Wednesday next week). You can reserve a unit in advance (and get $30/€30 off). Here are the other changes coming to the S26 Ultra.
