Samsung and Nvidia collaborate to advance AI in mobile networks | Infinium-tech
Samsung announced a partnership with Nvidia that will carry forward the AI-Ran (Artificial Intelligence) technologies in the AI-Ran (Radio Access Networks). Its objective is to increase the efficiency and performance of the mobile network through Samsung’s virtuous computing platforms jointly with Samsung’s virtuous solutions to customize the mobile network.
Samsung jointly showed its real -world Vran in MWC 2025 with quick computing of NVIDIA.
Rans are essentially access networks that use to connect cellular phones, one of the 5G examples. In this case, Nvidia will apply its grace CPU and/or GPU-based AI platform with the virtual network Samsung created to offer various architectural technologies for rural, suburban or dense urban environments.
June Moon, Executive Vice President and head of R&D, Network Business in Samsung Electronics, emphasized the importance of this cooperation: “While the AI is re-shaping the telecom landscape, Samsung is helping operators to create the right network architecture and environment, where AI can be operated by our Siddha and AI-Power Vrana.”
Ronnie Vashishta, senior vice-president of telecom at NVidia, said, “AI-Ran is an important technique that provides transformational benefits in network use, efficiency and performance, enabling new AI services.”
