Samsung adds Health integration into SmartThings, support for more devices | Infinium-tech
Samsung has introduced a major update for its smartthings platforms – Samsung Health is now integrated and more device types are supported with adopting 1.4 protocols.
If you have a Galaxy Watch (Watch 4 or later) or Galaxy Ring, it will track when you sleep and when you wake up – Smartathings Automation can trigger the routine based on those events.
For example, when you fall asleep, it can automatically close the lights and TV and dial the temperature in the room. When you wake up, it can open curtains and turn on the TV. Smartathings 2025 integrates Samsung TV Plus on Samsung TV, so it can switch routine channels – this allows your “wake up” routine to turn on the morning news.
Samsung health integration also performs more, in the morning you will find a sleeping environment report in Galaxy Now briefing, which gives details of temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide levels and light intensity (asserting that you have relevant sensors associated with the smartthings network, of course).
The substance adds support to a wide range of 1.4 protocol devices: water heater, heat pump, solar charger and battery and more. You can read more about the substance 1.4 Here,
Speakers associated with smartthings get a broadcast feature with this update-Orbike, you can record a small voice message and play it through a selected speaker. It works if you are at home and want to talk to someone in another room or when you are out.
In 2023, Samsung introduced cool onboarding for its own products, but now it provides it for third-party smartths devices that are sold through Samsung.com. Cool onboarding streamlines the entire process of obtaining a new device-Smartings app will show you purchase and delivery updates and will show a step-by-step setup guide after the items arrive.
The cool onboarding for third-party equipment is first launched in South Korea and will soon roll out in other countries (where IOT marketplace is available). The cool onboarding for Samsung devices is available in 14 countries including Korea, America, Europe, Australia and parts of Brazil.
