Report: Apple considers letting you replace Siri | Infinium-tech
Apple iPhone users have been using Siri for more than a decade, but it can change. According to Mark Gurman and Drake Bennett BloombergApple may allow users to choose another voice assistant for their iPhone, including chat, Amazon Alexa or Google Gemini.
The Bloomberg pair in length explained why Apple is still struggling with the widespread implementation of artificial intelligence. One of the reasons for user privacy is Apple’s commitment, which is a very large limit for the ability to collect and use user data for LLM training.
Apple is also a faulty rollout of intelligence, a feature that took months to reach all iPhone users globally.
Cupertino may have a reshuffle of senior officials and restructuring teams. The article mentions that with special mention of Apple Chatgate, the third-party AI is searching for the option to allow assistants.
Although it is mentioned for users as their access to a node and AI, the American company is probably considering the rules of the European Union that are more user-oriented and can allow the Apple phone legally access to non-apple AI services.
