Redmi refreshes Book 14 and Book 16 laptops with latest Intel Core 5 | Infinium-tech
The refreshed Redmi Book 14 (2025) and Redmi Book 16 (2025) were unveiled in China today. The laptops are identical to the 2024 iterations, but the Xiaomi brand has equipped them with an Intel Core 5 220H CPU.
Battery life improved by 15.6%, and Redmi said this was due to the AI powered by the Intel chip as the cell capacity remained unchanged.
The Redmi Book 14 features a 16:10 aspect ratio screen with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels. The panel supports 120 Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness and covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. The Book 16 has similar features, with slightly different aspects and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels.
Both models come with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, and both run Windows 11. There is a dual-fan cooling solution.
The Book 14’s battery is 56 Wh, while the Book 16’s is 72 Wh. Both support 100W fast charging with GaN adapter. The device has a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port for data and charging, an HDMI 2.1 for external displays, 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-A 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Redmi offers Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and Bluetooth 5.2. It supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and the front-facing camera in the bezel has a resolution of 1080p, making it ideal for video calls.
These are the prices of Redmi Book 14 and Redmi Book 16. The laptop can be purchased from the company store and select third-party retailers in China.
