Redmi Buds 6 Pro review | Infinium-tech
If you are in the market for a new pair of wireless earbuds and your budget is less than € 100, then Redmi Buds 6 Pro is a worthy pick. At € 70, they offer triple drivers, with LDAC support and active noise cancellation (ANC) Rated on HI-RS streaming 55DB. You are also getting spatial audio support, dual device pairing, and Xiaomi claims that you can expect a 36 -hour battery life from buds and their case.
design
Our reviewing unit comes into the glacier white, which gets a bright finish. Xiaomi is also offering Buds 6 Pro in Space Black and Lavender Purple, with a more interesting satin finish that is less prone to smoothie.
At first glance, there is nothing about the design of Buds 6 Pro. They are fully made up of plastic with relatively low stems and gold redmi branding. These buds are of in-age variety with old reliable silicone tips. The retail package includes size, M and L as well as a USB-C charging cable.
Xiaomi has closed the in-age fit on the Buds 6 Pro. The well -contour lines around the speaker assembly fit the ears of this reviewer completely without any discomfort, even after several hours of use. Silicon tips are soft and easy on the ears without causing any ear fatigue, and they also helped Buds 6 Pro stay inside my ears, which is usually not a case for most earbuds that I tested Has done
Each earbud has three microphones to cancel the noise and help the voice pickup. The buds are also rated against dust and water.
The oval shape of the charging case makes it easy to slide inside and out of the pockets and it is enough compact to fit your jeans inside the coin pocket. The case lid closes with a firm Snap, a well -established mark of premium build quality.
There is an LED strip in front of the case that when you put them in a pairing mode, shine, and it also doubles as a battery indicator, which is a clean way to keep the track when required to recharge .
Facilities and software
Factoring in their price range, Buds 6 Pro offers an impressive set of features that are rival flagship earbuds which are many times more expensive. Each earbud gets a 11 mm dynamic driver with a titanium diaphragm and two 6.7 mm pezoelectric ceramic Twitter. Xiaomi claims that this setup should be translated into the triple details and translated into the overall rich depth of sound.
Redmi Buds 6 Pro Feature Custom Coaxial Triple Driver
Bluetooth 5.3 with Buds 6 Pro Pair Bluetooth Le, HF, A2DP and AVRCP protocol and LDAC codec for high-bitrate streaming. You also have better adaptive noise cancellation, which claims to make noise up to 55DB around you.
Xiaomi’s new ANC algorithm claims a better sample frequency rate that scans around 16,000 times the noise in a second to cancel the optimal noise. Cadles can also adapt to ANC to your specific ear canal size and adjust the cancellation of noise accordingly.
In addition, Buds 6 Pro feature wear-detection sensor, dual device pairing and head tracking. The latter worked innocent in iOS, Android, Windows and Mac. Xiaomi also added the ability to link the Google Fast pair and your Google account so that all your Android devices will work without adding buds to personally.
Xiaomi’s Earbuds app is your one-stop shop to navigate the broad feature set of Buds 6 Pro. The app is available on both iOS and Android and worked innocent during our review. Xiaomi phone will not require an app as all the features will appear in your phone’s Bluetooth settings tab.
Redmi does 6 Pro facilities inside Xiaomi Earbuds app tomorrow
Once the Earbuds is coupled and signed in the app, you can togle between ANC and Transparency Mode, remarre touch-sensitive control and togle between four built-in equiser profiles. You can also fix the sound output using a ten-point custom EQ mixer.
Performance and sound quality
Redmi does yesterday out of the box without any twics without a 6 Pro sound boxes. There is a sufficient amount of bass, but it does not dominate the middle and high frequencies. The vowels come clear and there is a feeling of balance with climbing and height. Most affordable earbuds have a V-shaped EQ sound profile, which prefer bass, but it is not so here. The default sound stage on the Bads 6 Pro makes you feel alive, the instrument separation is very good, and you have to work hard to find a better-ridden wireless earbuds at this price point.
Xiaomi’s Earbuds app offers four built -in equal (EQ) options including standard, standard, enhancing, increase traables and increasing voice. You also get a full 10-band custom EQ setting, which allows you to fix the sound output for your choice.
We have to accept that buds seem better with ANC, which seems a common theme for most wireless earbuds. The ANC system is good for sinking low -frequency voice like ACS and fans, and is fine in separating unpleasant sounds associated with public transport.
We can say that the ANC capabilities of the Buds 6 Pro are equivalent to rivals in the midrange segment, but Sony decreases with major offerings like WF -1000XM5 and Pixel Buds Pro 2, which provides class -leading noise cancellations. Strong winds are a particularly difficult rival for most earbuds, and the Redmi Buds 6 took several seconds to accommodate the 6 Pro.
Transparency mode facilitates three-phase control, voice raising and environmental sound with regular mode. The latter was the best one of the three, brought out the right amount of noise and looked best when playing music, while the voices had the ability to separate the sounds much better.
Touch controls work well because you have a very large area with stems to work. You have your standard single, double, triple and hold gestures as well as swipes, which are specifically used for volume control.
The dimensional audio of the Bads 6 Pro with head tracking is a good addition that is rarely seen in this price range. This feature is supported on iOS and Android devices, and it also did enough work on the 14-inch MacBook Pro. While watching this video, some couples managed to follow a spatial audio effect for immersion.
Bluetooth connectivity at Buds 6 Pro was excellent during our review period, there was no drop even when connected to two devices at a time. The call quality was very good in a quiet environment and managed to separate my voice during the call in the noisier environment, although it was accompanied by a hating sound.
battery life
According to the claims of Redmi, the Buds 6 Pro should walk for a combined use of 36 hours between the buds and their charging case. In our test, we got 8 hours and 20 minutes time from buds with ANC and four complete recharges from the case for more than 33 hours.
Switching on ANC and head tracking was taxing the battery life, and we achieved 6 hours from buds. The bottom of the case is charged through the USB-C port. A quick 5-minute fee will be good for a 2-hour playback. The LED indicator on the case also shows a charging animation during the process, which is a good touch.
Decision
You will work hard to find a better pair of earbuds under € 100 under € 100 under the Redmi Buds 6 Pro. Their balanced audio profiles and clean features such as dual-device pairing, LDAC support and head tracking Bads 6 Pro are a worthy pick in the crowded Tids market.
The in-age fit workouts and longer hearing were also very good during the sessions, Touch Control worked innocently and the case is made concretely and has a useful status facility that reflects your charge. Our only grip is that the sound quality with ANC competent was slightly lower, and noise cancellation was comparable to midrange earbuds.
€ 70, circling back at the price of asking, Redmi Buds 6 Pro is one of our top recommendations for wireless earbuds early 2025. While there are cheap options like Redmi Buds 6, we think Buds 6 Pro combines the right amount of additional features. Their high asking value underlining most of the contestants.
