Redmi 15A arrives with familiar specs | Infinium-tech
The latest edition of the Redmi 15 series was just unveiled in India. Say hello to the Redmi 15A, which comes to India with a 6,300mAh battery, 120Hz display, and an affordable price. It is actually a rebadged Poco C85x with a different camera island design.
Redmi 15A design and key specifications
The Redmi 15A is built around a 6.9-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated at 810 nits peak brightness and houses an 8MP selfie camera. There is a 32MP main shooter and an unspecified auxiliary lens at the back. You get a Unisoc T8300 chipset with 4/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage. The phone has a dual SIM slot with support for microSD card storage expansion.

The software side is covered by Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16, with 4 years of firmware updates and 6 years of security patches. The 6,300 mAh battery supports 15W charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging. The phone is IP52-rated against dust and water splash and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a headphone jack.
Redmi 15A comes in Awesome Blue, Amazing Purple and Ace Black colors. Baseline 4/64GB trim starts INR 12,999 ($137). Xiaomi is selling the 4/128GB version for Rs 14,499 ($153) and the 6/128GB trim for Rs 16,499 ($174). Open sale will start from April 3.
