Realme Neo8 comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, an 8,000mAh battery, and an IP69 rating | Infinium-tech
Realme Neo8 has just gone official in China. It is the latest entry in the Neo series and comes with a large 8,000mAh battery and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The phone is available for purchase in three colors.
It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The Neo8 uses a Samsung M14 panel that is claimed to offer a peak brightness of 6,500 nits.

On the back, the phone has a transparent design with an ‘Awakening Halo’ RGB light strip that matches notifications and more. The rear panel is made of glass and gets a transparent design. The Neo8 has a metal frame and has an IP69 rating.
It gets a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX896 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP JN5 periscope telephoto unit with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, the Neo8 has a 16MP camera.

The 8,000mAh battery inside the phone supports 80W SuperVOOC charging with bypass charging.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC is paired with UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM. It also has a large steam chamber. The phone runs Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 and comes with several AI features. It is said to get three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches.

Other specs of the Realme Neo8 include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, infrared blaster, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, and stereo speakers. The thickness of the phone is 8.3 mm and weight is 215 grams.
It is currently available for sale in China in Cyber Purple, Mecha Grey, and Origin White color options.
The 12GB/256GB option of the Realme Neo8 starts at CNY 2,599 ($370), while the 12GB/512GB variant is priced at CNY 3,099 ($445).
You can also pick up the phone in a 16GB/256GB option for CNY 2,899 ($415), or a 16GB/512GB model for CNY 3,399 ($490). Finally, there is also a 16GB/1TB variant priced at CNY 3,899 ($560).
