The recently announced Snapdragon 8 Elite chip is set to power the upcoming batch of Android flagships and Realme will be one of the first brands to launch a phone with the new SoC with its Realme GT 7 Pro.

Realme GT 7 Pro launching globally next month with new Snapdragon 8 Elite

The device is confirmed to launch in China this month, followed by a global launch in November. The GT7 Pro will be available simultaneously in more than 10 countries and regions including India, Italy, Spain, Malaysia and Thailand.

The GT6 launched earlier this year proved to be a true “flagship killer”. Now, despite the pressure of a price-increasing supply chain and a competitive market, Realme has left no stone unturned in delivering a true flagship GT7 Pro. With this new annual showcase, realme is ambitious to create a new identity in the high-end market.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite features an octa-core CPU with two performance cores that deliver an industry-leading 4.32 GHz clock speed. The 3nm chip also gets a new Qualcomm Adreno GPU, an overhauled Hexagon NPU to handle complex multi-modal AI tasks, an updated camera ISP, and the latest X80 5G modem.
