Realme 14 Pro+ camera details confirmed | Infinium-tech
The Realme 14 Pro+ was partially announced last month and we’ve already had the chance to spend some hands-on time with the device, including some photo and video samples that you can check out here.
We now have more information about the camera sensors of the device.
The star of the show is the periscope camera using Sony’s IMX882 sensor with triple light reflection. It is a 1/2-inch sensor with 50MP resolution and OIS, capable of up to 3x optical zoom and 120x hybrid zoom. This type of sensor is rare outside of the flagship realm, and we expect more midrange devices to get similar hardware this year.
The periscope lens is joined by a 24mm equivalent 50MP main shooter using a 1/1.56-inch IMX896 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. The unit is also capable of 2x in-sensor lossless zoom which delivered promising shots in our brief time with the device.
The third unit on the back is an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 112° field of view and an f/2.2 aperture. We should also mention the one remaining camera sensor – the 32MP selfie shooter, with its f/2.0 aperture and eye-tracking autofocus.
The Realme 14 Pro+ has some promising camera hardware, which impressed us in our brief time with the device. We’ll be sure to update you with more details and a general set of tests in our full review.
