Realme 14 Pro+ announced in China | Infinium-tech

The Realme 14 Pro+ was partially announced last month, with its full specification sheet and price kept under wraps until now. The device was quietly listed on the official online store of Realme China ahead of the January 16 global launch event of the series.

The Realme 14 Pro+ is built around a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 2800 x 1272 px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated at a peak brightness of 1,500 nits and has Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Realme has also added an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 32MP selfie camera.

The 14 Pro+ is IP68/IP69 water and dust resistant, and the Gilded White variant of the phone features a temperature-sensitive color-changing back panel. As the temperature drops to 16°C (61°F) or lower, the back appears a vibrant blue color, as shown in the video below.

The Realme 14 Pro+ is a camera-centric device with a pair of 50MP main and periscope cameras and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The main shooter is a 24mm equivalent 50MP camera that uses a 1/1.56-inch IMX896 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. It is capable of 2x in-sensor lossless zoom.

The more impressive shooter is the 3x periscope lens using a 1/2-inch IMX882 sensor with 50MP resolution and OIS. We had a chance to test the cameras on the 14 Pro+ during a Media Tour event in Copenhagen, Denmark and you can see the results here.

Realme also added a triple LED flash setup called “MagicGlow”. Each LED has a different color temperature, which when combined with the cameras, allows you to get more natural light in your shots.

As for the rest of the spec sheet, Realme went with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip along with 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage. The device also has a large 6,000 mAh battery with 80W charging.

Realme 14 Pro+ comes in Sea Rock Gray and Gilded White colors. Prices start in China CNY 2,599 ($355) Goes up to 12/256GB trim CNY 2,799 ($380) For 12/512GB version.
