Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 to launch early | Infinium-tech
Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset in October last year, so you will usually accept its successor, temporarily called Elite 2, it will reach the coming October.
However, according to a rumor out of China, the next aristocracy will actually be declared in late September. Then, in October, we will already see the devices that hit the roads, at least in China.
Earlier, Elite 2’s Antutu benchmark score was leaked, which suggests some beautiful healthy upgradation in performance compared to its predecessor, and then we heard that its GPU performance will be up to 30%, while the CPU performance would be up to 25% compared to the original 8 elite class.
So it looks like a very important release, and one that will come more sooner than normal to allow Android device manufacturers to compete with Apple’s new iPhone 17 family on the head, expected to come in September. The first Soc launch may help some Android Oms to transfer more units during the end-year holiday shopping season.
