Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 beats the Dimensity 9500 in CPU clock speed | Infinium-tech
Yesterday we heard that MediaTek’s upcoming dimension 9500 SoC will be ahead of 4 GHz threshold for the first time in the history of CPU company, and today we have news about its main contestant.
Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, due to the unveiling in the end of September, is now rumored to hit 4.6 GHz for its regular models, and the “Galaxy” high-bin repetition in 4.74 GHz, which Samsung is using at least some of the least Galaxy S26 devices next year.
The SOC is rumored to look up to the GPU up to 1.2 GHz, and its entutu score, even in the tamar, is generally available repetition (not Samsung Special), exceeding 4 million.
The second generation of Qualcomm Elite will use its custom Oryan Core, and the SOC will be made on TSMC’s N3P3 Nm process. The CPU will have two prime core and six performance core, and the GPU will be marketed as Adreno 840.
