Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 announced with Kryo CPU, Adreno 825 GPU | Infinium-tech
Qualcomm announced its latest premium mobile chipset – Snapdragon 8S General 4.
The CPU layer consists of 1x cortex-x 4 prime core, up to 3.2GHz, 3x cortex-A720 core at 3.0GHz, 2x cortex-A720 core 2.8GHz, and 2x Cortex-A at 2.0GHz on the core. According to Qualcomm, the new chip is 31% faster than last year’s Snapdragon 8S General 3, while 39% lower power.
The chip also gets a new Adreno 825 GPU, advertising to offer a 49% improvement on the graphics side as compared to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S General 3. You are also getting on-device ray tracing support and Snapdragon Elite Gaming Features like Snapdragon Game Super Resolution 2.0 and Adreno Image Motion Engine 2.0.

Updated Qualcomm Hexagon NPU performs 44% better with AI functions. Qualcomm also added an 18-bit triple image signal processor (ISP) that supports 320MP camera sensor and 4K60fps HDR video recording.
The new chip comes with an integrated Snapdragon X75 5G modem, which has a peak download speed of 4.2GBPS, although it only supports the sub -6GHz spectrum instead of the fast mmwave frequency band. The chip also gets Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity.

Snapdragon 8S General 4 is expected to debut on the IQO Z10 turbo later this month, which is set to launch with Xiaomi, Oppo, Meizu and others soon with more equipment with more equipment.
