Oppo A5 Pro announced with Dimensity 7300 SoC, IP69 rating, and 6,000 mAh battery | Infinium-tech
The Oppo A5 Pro that we’ve been hearing about for the past month has been officially unveiled. It features a 6.7″ 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen with 1,200 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The display also has a centered punch-hole for a 16MP selfie camera and a fingerprint reader at the bottom for biometric authentication. On the back you get two cameras – 50MP primary and 2MP monochrome.
Under the hood, the Oppo A5 Pro has a Dimensity 7300 chip paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The smartphone boots Android 15-based ColorOS 15, but it’s unclear how many years of software support it will get.
As said, the Oppo A5 Pro comes with IP66/68/69 rating, military-grade GJB150A-2009 certification, and 360-degree drop resistance. It also has symmetrical low-frequency antennas on both ends of the frame for better signal strength.
The rest of the highlights of the Oppo A5 Pro include a 6,000 mAh battery, 80W charging, 5G support, stereo speakers, NFC, and a wet touch mode for the screen that can be operated even while wearing gloves.
The Oppo A5 Pro comes in four configurations – 8GB/256GB, 8GB/512GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB. The base model is priced at CNY1,999 ($275/€265/INR23,330) and the top-end variant is priced at CNY2,499 ($340/€330/INR29,165), while the 8GB/512GB and 12GB/256GB variants are priced at Is. Price CNY2,199 ($300/€290/INR25,665). These will be available in China from December 27 on Oppo’s Chinese website.
