A deep dive into the code of the latest version of the OHealth app used to manage OnePlus and Oppo smartwatches a few hours ago revealed that OnePlus is working on a OnePlus Watch 3 Pro along with the vanilla Watch 3, and now the same The source brings us more details about the new health tracking features that the pair will support. In what follows, we’ll only mention the OnePlus Watch 3 for the sake of simplicity and readability, but keep in mind that all of this also applies to the Watch 3 Pro.
The Watch 3 will support ECG readings, atrial fibrillation detection, and wrist temperature tracking. For the latter, you’ll first need to establish a baseline by sleeping with the watch on for at least five days, with at least one sleep session lasting four or more hours. Then, you’ll be notified when your wrist temperature goes above or below the baseline range.

The Watch 3 is also getting a “60-second checkup” feature that instantly scans heart health, blood vessel elasticity, sleep snoring, vascular age, physical and mental status, blood oxygen, ECG, and wrist temperature. It will use a separate app called “60-second checkup.”
The oHealth app will get a new Health tab where you will find things like Health Insights and Health Journey. The first, as the name suggests, will display long-term insights, while the second will give you “key workout and health schedules for the day,” including sleep, steps, and workouts.

These OHealth app features should also be available on the OnePlus Watch 2 and OnePlus Watch 2R, there’s no technical reason why they shouldn’t be, but OnePlus may choose to launch them on the Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro first.

The OnePlus Watch 3 is rumored to have a rotating bezel, Snapdragon W5 chipset, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, and a larger battery than its predecessor. It’s unclear what Pro will bring to the table. Stay tuned for more details.
