OnePlus launched its first foldable with OnePlus Open in October 2023 – a device that was for all intentions and purposes, a global version of Oppo N3 Find N3 which was launched in China during the same time. With the upcoming launch of Oppo Find N5 in China next week, expectations were that OnePlus would soon launch Open 2 as the international version of Find N5, but it would not happen.
OnePlus Open Product Manager, Vale Ji, confirmed that OnePlus would put its foldable plan on poses and would not launch Open 2 this year.
