OnePlus Ace 5V’s chipset and huge battery capacity outed | Infinium-tech

OnePlus’ Ace 5 family is going to grow soon. This currently includes the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, but there is also an Ace 5V coming as a successor to the Ace 3V that was launched in March.

The Ace 5V will reportedly use MediaTek’s yet-unannounced Dimensity 9350 SoC, which can apparently be interpreted as the “Dimension 9300++” in the words of prolific Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station.

This SoC will be released to compete with the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite, the successor to the 8s Gen 3. The Dimensity 9350 reportedly brings some minor performance improvements over the 9300, as well as consuming slightly less power.

The OnePlus Ace 5V will also have a “1.5K” resolution flat screen with smaller bezels and a 7,000 mAh battery. It’s not clear exactly when the Ace 5V will be made official, but we assume we’re still a few weeks away from that moment, so a lot of information may emerge about it in the meantime. Interestingly, the OnePlus Ace 3V was rebranded (and slightly modified) as the OnePlus Nord 4 for international markets, and this leads us to think that the Ace 5V may launch globally as the Nord 5. .
