Teardown follows the standardized process of removing the SIM tray, heating the glass back plate and removing the panel. We can then see the camera island, which is held in place by 4x Phillips screws.
If you want to go deeper into the 15R, you will have to remove the 17 Phillips screws. The battery cables are hidden under a graphite film and copper tape, and OnePlus has thankfully provided pull pouches on the sides of the cell, making the removal process much easier.

Removing a few more flex cables frees the 32MP selfie cam, and a Phillips screw frees the motherboard. Removing the screen is a little more complicated because you’ll have to remove most of the remaining components, including the bottom cover, back plate, sub-board, and display cable.
In the end, the OnePlus 15R earns an 8.5/10 repairability score.
