Nothing Phone (4a) series receiving new update with these features | Infinium-tech
Nothing has announced the rollout of a new update for the recently launched Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro. The Nothing OS update introduces several new features, including improvements to live updates on the Glyph Bar and a new Relaxation Hub.
Starting with Android 16 live updates, apps that support real-time updates will now use the nothing phone’s (4A) glyph bar to show progress. This feature works on always-on display, lock screen, status bar and notifications.

Additionally, a new Relaxation Hub has been introduced, which includes breathing break widgets. These widgets can be accessed through the Widget Library and include Focus, Relax, and Calm modes, each with a different haptic pattern.

The update also brings recommended apps to the Essential Apps drawer, with the option to add them directly to the home screen.
There’s also a new lock screen clock face, taken from the phone (3), which includes a special typeface and a wake-up animation. Further enhancements include depth effects as well as adjustable clock size and alignment options for lock screen customization.

Finally, Nothing has introduced an AI eraser feature in the Gallery app. The on-device tool can automatically detect and remove unwanted elements from photos, while also allowing users to manually select what they want to erase.
The Nothing Phone (4A) is currently available for purchase in several regions, while the Nothing Phone (4A) Pro will go on sale in the coming days.
