Nothing Ear (open) debut with open-ear design and 30-hour battery life | Infinium-tech
As their name suggests, the Nothing Ear (Open) are the first open-ear wireless earbuds from the Nothing brand. They bring an on-ear design with wrap-around ear hooks and feature the now-signature Nothing look with their semi-transparent design. They do not offer active noise cancellation as the Nothing Ear (Open) are crafted for users who value situational awareness and all-day comfort.
Design has always been a focus for Nothing products and the Ear (Open) now reflects the signature translucent look associated with the brand. The new buds feature speakers that rest on the outside of your ear and a three-point balance system with silicone ear hooks. Nothing has developed a new Sound Seal system with directional speakers to prevent sound leakage and ensure privacy.
Each bud weighs 8.1 grams and both the buds and the case feature IP54 dust and splash resistance.
The ear (open) has 14.2mm titanium-coated drivers and can be paired with Bluetooth 5.3 for dual device pairing. Each earbud has dual mics, Clear Voice 3.0 technology, and pinch controls for media playback, volume control, and call management.
Like previous Nothing Buds, the Ear (Open) works with the Nothing X app. You can tweak and share your EQ profiles, customize controls, and update their firmware from the app. The Buds also support Find My Network, low latency mode for gaming, and integrated ChatGPT connectivity that requires a Nothing phone.
