According to Neo’s vice president of hardware Bai Jian, who has previously worked at Xiaomi and Oppo, the Neo Phone 2 should use larger language models for AI, and should also have performance improvements compared to its predecessor.

The company had previously said that it would launch a new Neo phone every year like Apple and other big smartphone makers, although this phone is arriving about two months earlier than the original phone.

Nio phones allow you to quickly access over 30 functions of your Nio car, including using them as a key, controlling the AC, and turning the seat massage on and off. Over the past few months, Nio in China has been giving away free Nio phones to customers who buy its 2024 car models.
