New report confirms two foldable Apple devices in 2026 | Infinium-tech
We’ve been hearing a lot of rumors about Apple’s upcoming foldable device lately. We know the company is working on a flip-style foldable iPhone and an iPad/MacBook hybrid that will have an 18.8-inch screen when opened.
The latest report from analyst Jeff Pu suggests that the iPad/MacBook hybrid will first launch in the second quarter of 2026. The foldable iPhone is set to arrive in late 2026. It’s not too far-fetched to assume it will be announced alongside the iPhone 17 series, but the actual market release will begin in late 2026.
Unfortunately, the report doesn’t provide any more details other than giving us a more precise time frame. However, Jeff Pu seems pretty optimistic at the moment. He says Apple is still on schedule, especially after recently securing a supply contract for the panels for the foldable iPhone.
Still, a lot can change by 2026, so don’t get your hopes up just yet.
