New iPhone 16 Pro color is actually Gold, not Brown, latest leak suggests | Infinium-tech

Earlier this month the iPhone 16 Pro Max leaked in a weird brown colour that shocked everyone. It had a bronze-like colour and although it had its fans, it wasn’t really universally liked.

However, according to a leakster who posted photos of the lenses along with their colors, the color will actually be closer to gold. The new option will not be the copper color suggested in the original photos, but will resemble the sand of the Sahara Desert.

All colors will be named Titanium – White, Black, Gray or Gold – which means the Natural and Blue options are being removed from the roster. We’re still waiting to see what happened to the rumored Rose option, which may or may not be replaced by this new Gold variant.

The colours of the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are expected to be more muted unlike the iPhone 16 series where bright options will be available – blue, green, and pink.

We might also see dual cameras aligned vertically, which is something we haven’t seen since 2020’s iPhone 12. Also, the square camera island is gone, which would be a first since the iPhone X and iPhone XS series more than half a decade ago.
