Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is now receiving the Android 16 update | Infinium-tech
Motorola is continuing the rollout of Android 16 to older devices, and today the update started arriving on Edge 50 Ultra units. This update is currently rolling out to Edge 50 Ultra devices purchased in Brazil.

It comes over-the-air with firmware version W1UV36H.61-15 as a 1.64GB download. As usual with updates like this, the rollout is likely to be phased, so it could take a few days to reach all Edge 50 Ultra units in Brazil.
After that, it is expected to spread to more areas. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra was launched on Android 14 last year, and meanwhile it was updated to Android 15. It will also get Android 17, but after that no other major Android update will be available. However, it will receive security patches until April 2028.
