LG announces two new lifestyle projectors | Infinium-tech
LG is moving fast with its announcements at CES 2025 and the latest additions are a pair of lifestyle projectors. The PF600U is a floor lamp-sized LED projector that also doubles as a Bluetooth speaker and LED mood light. The CineBeam S (PU615U) is LG’s smallest 4K ultra-short throw (UST) projector and comes with Dolby Atmos stereo sound.
The LG PF600U features an LED (RGBB) light source capable of 300 ANSI lumens brightness and FHD resolution. The projector boasts a 150,000:1 contrast ratio and can project 30 – 120-inch screen sizes with a 1.2 throw ratio. It supports HDR, HLG picture formats and auto-screen adjustment.
The body houses a set of stereo speakers and HDMI and USB Type-C ports. The software side is covered by webOS with support for wireless Android and iOS casting from devices.
The CineBeam S (PU615U) is LG’s most compact 4K UST projector yet. It is a 110 x 160 x 160 mm box-sized projector capable of producing 40 – 100 inch images with a 0.25 throw ratio. The CineBeam S is rated at 500 ANSI lumens and offers a 450,000:1 contrast ratio while supporting HDR10 and HLG standards. It also has 154% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.
The projector features stereo sound powered by Dolby Atmos and runs webOS with support for Android and iOS casting. It also has HDMI and USB-C port.
LG has not yet revealed the pricing and availability of its new projectors, so we’ll have to wait for CES to officially begin on January 7 to learn more.
