iOS 18.3 Beta 3 arrives with changes to Notification Summaries | Infinium-tech
Apple is now rolling out its third beta release for iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, and macOS Sequoia 15.3. With iOS 18.3 beta 3, Apple is rolling out some changes to Apple Intelligence, including disabling notification summaries for news and entertainment apps. This appears to be a temporary measure as Apple looks to fix it very bad Summary. Notification summaries are expected to be restored with a future iOS update.
Users can also disable notification summaries directly from the lock screen on a per-app basis. Apple is also changing notification summaries, which now appear in italicized font so they can be clearly distinguished from regular notifications.

Along with changes to the notification summary, Apple is also bringing bug fixes and some minor changes to the camera control button, messages, and PDF editing. iPhone 16 models with camera control buttons now feature a newly named “Lock focus and exposure” toggle in place of the AR/AF lock toggle. Messages gets a new Zenmoji option with a “+” button.

Apple is expected to launch the final version of iOS 18.3 later this month.
