Infinix Zero 40 5G stops by the Google Play Console, gets certified with Dimensity 8200 | Infinium-tech
Infinix is gearing up to launch the Zero 40 4G and Zero 40 5G. The latter has now been spotted in the Google Play Console with model number X6861. The listing reveals that it is powered by the MediaTek MT6896Z/CZA, which is the same chipset code found in the Infinix GT 20 Pro that uses the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC.
Thus, the Zero 40 5G will borrow the chip from its already announced cousin. The upcoming handset has a screen resolution of 1080×2436, and the listing shows 12GB of RAM (though more memory options could be offered). It will run on Android 14 when launched.
Previous Geekbench runs have also confirmed the Dimensity 8200 SoC, and a new TUV certification tells us that the Zero 40 5G will feature a 4,900mAh battery, just like the 4G model.
Talking about the 4G variant, its model number is X6860 and it is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 SoC. It will also run on Android 14 from day one and a version of it will come with 8GB of RAM. Its screen resolution is the same as the 5G version. Based on its FCC certification, it looks like it will go up to 512GB in terms of storage.
