Huawei nova 14 Ultra debuts with 50MP periscope, nova 14 and 14 Pro follow | Infinium-tech
As expected, Huawei today unveiled its Nova 14 series smartphones in China. Like last year, we get a total of three new Nova phones with Nova 14 Ultra, which stand out of the pack. It is armed up to a 50mp periscope camera, a Ltpo 3.0 OLED and 1TB storage. As usual with the Huawei release, there is no information on any of the three new phones used in any of the chipsets used in any of the three new phones.
Nova 14 Ultra
Ultra model gets hardcore glasses, including FHD+ resolution and 6.81 inch quad curved OLED with an adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate. It is an LTPO 3.0 panel, and Huawei claims that it provides improvement in power consumption. It also has a Kunlun Glass Protection and provides 5,500 knot peak local glow.
There are two shooter upfronts with 50MP lenses that support 8MP lens with 2x optical zoom for selfie portraits with ultravide (0.8X) shots.
The back house has a trio of cameras with a spectral sensor for colored data. A variable f/1.4 – f/4.0 is a 50MP main shooter with aperture and OIS, with 13MP ultravide and already mentioned 50MP periscope with 3.7x optical zoom. All three sensors are of Ryyb variety.

In other places, the Nova 14 Ultra Boots Hornous 5 and it has a 5,500 mAh silicone carbon battery with 100W fast charging. The phone is ip68/69 water and dust resistant and supports two-way satellite connectivity in China.
Huawei Nova 14 Ultra starts at CNY 4,199 ($ 582) for 256GB trim and goes to CNY 4,999 ($ 693) for 1TB storage version.
Nova 14 and Nova 14 Pro
The other two Nova 14 members dial to the glasses department. The Nova 14 Pro brings a 6.7 “Ltpo OLED (FHD+ 120Hz) while Nova 14 gets 6.7” OLED (FHD+ 120Hz). The pro variants are designed with the same 50mp + 8MP double front cameras as ultra, while Nova 14 does with a single 50MP front-facing shooter.

The Nova 14 Pro also inherited Ultra’s 50MP sensors with variable aperture and OIS, but dials down to 12MP telephoto lens and 8MP ultravide. Nova 14 gets a simple triple camera setup with 50mp main shooter, and the same 12MP telephoto and 8MP ultravide lens.
Both phones boot the harmonous 5.0 and provide 5,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W charging. They also get IP65 water and dust resistance.
CNY 2,699 ($ 374) for the Nova 14 256GB version and CNY 2,999 ($ 415) for models with 512GB storage. The Nova 14 Pro starts at CNY 3,499 ($ 485) for 256GB trim and CNY is at the top at 3,799 ($ 526) for the 512GB version.
The Nova 14 series phones are currently on pre-order in China, which are accompanied by delivery on the end of this month. Huawei has not yet expanded international availability, but we should get more information in the coming weeks.
