Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5 TWS go official with ANC, lossless audio | Infinium-tech
Huawei recently unveiled a wide range of new products, including the Mate 80 series, the Mate X7 foldable, and the MatePad Edge tablet. Along with these launches, the company also introduced its latest TWS earbuds, the FreeBuds Pro 5.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5 are a pair of premium TWS earbuds that come with improved ANC and lossless audio quality. They are equipped with a new custom Kirin A3 chip and dual drivers.

Each earbud features an ultra-linear dual-magnetic bass driver paired with a micro-planar tweeter. Thanks to the Nearlink E2.0 technology and custom Kirin A3 chipset, the earphones support lossless audio streaming at up to 4.6Mbps.
The FreeBuds Pro 5 is compatible with multiple audio codecs, including AAC, SBC, LDAC, and L2HC. They sport an in-ear, stem-style design and come with silicone eartips. Meanwhile, the charging case has a pill-shaped design.

In terms of connectivity, the earbuds support Bluetooth 6.0 and multi-device connection. The charging case is IP54 rated, while the earphones offer an IP57 rating.
As for battery life, Huawei claims that the FreeBuds Pro 5 can offer up to 8 hours of usage on a single charge with ANC disabled, or up to 33 hours with the case. With ANC on, the buds are said to last up to 5 hours and with the case on, up to 22 hours.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5 earbuds are available in Earth Gold, Frost Silver, Snow White, and Sky Blue colors, with the latter offering a vegan-leather finish.
The earbuds are available for purchase via Huawei’s official China website and are priced at CNY 1,449 ($205).
