Honor Magic7 teased in gold, confirmed to use AI defocus eye protection screen | Infinium-tech
Honor is unveiling the Magic7 flagship series on October 30 and the brand keeps teasing the devices. We now have a new video teaser for the vanilla Magic7 model, seen here in Chaoha Gold, posed by Chinese actress and singer Zhu Zhu, who has become Honor’s newly appointed Art Aesthetic Ambassador.
Honor says this colorway captures “the beauty of morning light.” The brand has also released the following promo shots featuring the colorway.

Additionally, the Magic7 series of devices are now confirmed to use the AI Defocus Eye Protection technology that the brand introduced in June.
It works by simulating defocus glasses on the display, thus inducing controlled defocus in your peripheral visual field to maintain clear central vision. Honor claims the technology reduced users’ transient myopia by an average of 13 degrees after reading for 25 minutes, with some users even experiencing a maximum reduction of 75 degrees.
And it will be part of Magic7 and Magic7 Pro from day one. Additionally, their screens will feature 4,320Hz PWM dimming and hardware-level reduced blue light. Additionally, the screen’s brightness, color temperature and contrast will be AI-adjusted in real-time, depending on the context of what you’re doing and your habits.
