Honor abruptly cancels its comeback in India | Infinium-tech
The honor left the Indian market in 2021, only to announce a victorious comeback in September 2023. The allegation was led by Madhav Sheth, former head of Realm India, who left his job to head the local institution to sell an honor phone under the “Made in India” program.
Today, only 20 months later, the whole thing is over. Honor India fans were suddenly announced on official communication channels that “Honor Honor” has officially stopped operations and support in India.
Message from Explore Honor Telegram Group
The Telegram Group, from which we received the screenshot, will be renamed as “Alcatel India Community” from “Honor Honor India Fan Club”. Funny, Madhav Sheth recently moved to the local company that would bring the Alcatel brand back to the smartphone market, in which naming rights from TCL were purchased.
Sheth is now the founder and technical advisor of Alcatel India, according to his LinkedIn, and his X (East Twitter) account bio is now a shortage related to respect.
It is here that it becomes complicated. His new company NXTQUANTUM NXTPAPER and NXTVIcon, are similar to the technology trademark used by TCL, which holds the naming rights for Alcatel. In addition, TCL 50 and TCL 60 phones share uniform designs with some Alcatel products that are teased.
Notice similarities between unpounted Alcatel phones and TCL 50 Pro NXTPaper?
We will see if the similarities of the phone are beyond the design because the official announcement comes – it may not be long.
