Honor 300 Ultra official, Galaxy S25 EU versions reach the FCC, Week 49 in review | Infinium-tech

The European Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra passed through the FCC with model numbers SM-S931B/DS, SM-S936B/DS and SM-S938B/DS. They are testing with a 25W charger but the Ultra can support up to 45W like the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Honor unveiled its 300 series with the Honor 300, 300 Pro and 300 Ultra. Like the Pro, the Honor 300 Ultra has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, but it also gets a 50MP periscope lens (IMX858) that offers 3.8x optical zoom and an f/3.0 aperture. The periscope module is joined by a 50MP main lens (IMX906) and a 12MP ultrawide with OIS. It features a 6.78-inch 120Hz OLED and a 5,300mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. The Honor 300 Ultra is priced starting at CNY 4,199 ($577) and is on sale in China.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will have the same 6.73-inch display as its predecessor, as well as a 1-inch type main camera with an f/1.63 aperture – no mention of variable aperture this year. Next, a 50 MP short-range zoom telephoto (probably 2x), and a 200 MP perhaps 4.3x periscope telephoto. The cell capacity is rumored to be between 5,450 mAh and 5,800 mAh.

Between them, Qualcomm’s new flagship SoC works in two different ways: It powers the phone at No. 1 on the chart, the Asus ROG Phone 9. Pro, and it is in six of the top ten devices, while the Dimensity 9400 is only in four of them.

They should become official next month.

The new top dog of the Honor series also has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and up to 1TB of storage.

Cameras take up a lot of space.

Samsung’s 2025 foldables are getting new bigger screens. This information has come from display supply chain industry consultant Ross Young. He says the Galaxy Z Fold7 will get the Galaxy Fold Special Edition panel – an 8″ foldable screen and a 6.5″ panel on the cover. The clamshell Galaxy Z Flip7 is also ready to go all out – sporting a 6.85″ foldable (up from 6.7″) and a 4″ covered (up from 3.4″) display.

Red Magic 10 Pro is now global. It has a 7,050mAh battery like the Chinese Pro+ model. Early orders for the phone will begin on December 12 and the open sale will begin on December 18. Starting price for the 12/256GB model is $649/€649.

Samsung announced One UI 7 beta, giving us a glimpse of the design and new features. OnePlus 13 is coming to the global market in January next year.
