Google teases its Whoop competitor | Infinium-tech
Google is ready to take on Whoop with Fitbit, a screen-less wrist-wearable. The device was teased by NBA star Steph Curry, who last year entered into a long-term partnership with Google as a performance advisor across health, Pixel, and cloud products.
Although we don’t get any exclusive details or a real good look at the device, we can see its Whoop-inspired design which features a braided fabric material and a metal clasp. according to a Bloomberg News reportGoogle’s health tracker will come with a subscription service with an AI-based personal health coach.
Unlike Whoop, which bundles hardware with its subscription service, Google will charge customers for its Band. Some health tracking features will be free, but more advanced metrics will be hidden behind a subscription.
