Google Pixel Watch 4 now supports new gestures and has better smart replies | Infinium-tech
Google’s latest update for Pixel Watch 4 brings two new features. First, you get more gestures. These were revealed recently after in-depth investigation of some codes.
You can now use a double pinch and wrist twist to control various features of the watch without touching the screen. Examples include scrolling through notifications, dismissing them, snoozing an alarm, managing a timer or stopwatch, pausing music, selecting smart reply, answering and ending a phone call. On-screen prompts will pop up to tell you when you can use these gestures.
Second, Smart Reply has now been extended to both the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Watch 3. The new Smart Replies use an on-device Gemma-based language model, which is twice as fast and almost three times more efficient in memory usage than the previous one.
