Introduction

Google Pixel 9A is the company’s newest mid-range Android smartphone. Pixel 9A, part of the A-series, continued the tradition of being the cheapest offering in the latest generation pixel lineup, which begins with relatively modest $ 499.

Pixel 9A has several changes on last year’s Pixel 8A. There is an updated design, which is more suitable for other Pixel 9 devices. The chipset is updated to the latest generation tensor G4. The main rear camera is upgraded and now a large battery, which is the largest on any pixel smartphone.

As we have seen with previous A-series devices, Google does not exclude the boat at Pixel 9A in terms of characteristics and specifications. Instead, the focus focuses on providing core pixel experience, whether it is in the form of camera performance or software suits. But with the increasing competition, it remains to be seen whether it is a once winning formula effective.

Out of the box

Ship in Pixel 9A rather packaging. Inside the slim cardboard box, the only thing of the note is phone and USB-C data cable. If you are expecting a case or even a basic charger that you will find on competitive devices, you will not find them here.

Google sells a case, however, which was enough to send us. The soft silicone case provides good coverage with a comfortable grip and enough fickleness for physiological keys. However, $ 30 at a pop, these cases are towards the pricier, and you can get something similar elsewhere for half the price.
