Galaxy Z Fold7 rumored to be even thinner than expected, Z Flip7 to have a larger battery | Infinium-tech
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be unveiled in early July. Leaks are helping us to create a picture of new foldables, although some details keep changing. The latest report from here Techmaniacs,
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be significantly thinner than its 2024 preceding. How thin? Previous information shows that 4.5 mm is unfolded and 9.5 mm bent. This latest report claims that it will be even more thin – only 8.2 mm turned!
Take it with a grain of salt as it would mean that Samsung will jump the competition – Oppo Find N5 is 8.9 mm for example. The Korean company will have to significantly improve its current best effort, Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which is 10.6 mm.
Anyway, Z fold7 will have a 200MP main camera like a special version, but will not improve the telephoto (3X 10MP) and ultra-wide (12MP).
The inner display on Z fold 6 is expected to increase, above 7.6 “. Cover display will go from 6.3” to 6.5 “. These dimensions match a special version.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 will have a large cover display-a 3.4 “panel of a folder size to almost a rectangular 4” panel. The Z Flip will also be thinner than its predecessor, but this report has no solid number.
It will have a large battery, however, growing from 4,000mAh to 4,300mAh (no, the charge speed will not be increased). The camera system is not getting 200MP upgrade – in fact, it seems that Samsung will reuse the 50+12MP setup from the Z Flip6.
Both phones will be operated by Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (Z Flip SE or whatever it is called will get an exinos 2400E).
Finally, there are some bad news in the report – Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to grow € 100 than its predecessor. For reference, Z fold was launched at 6 € 2,000. No news is good news about Z Flip7 value, we believe.
