Galaxy Z Flip7 again rumored to be Samsung’s first Exynos-powered foldable | Infinium-tech
Samsung typically launches its new foldables in July, which is more than six months ahead at this time, but we have a new report from a Korean outlet election The Z Flip7 is tipped to feature Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 2500 chipset. This was reportedly confirmed by “a high-ranking official of Samsung Electronics” and this isn’t the first time we’re hearing this rumor.
The Exynos 2500 will be built on Samsung’s second-generation SF3 3nm process. The upcoming chipset is rumored to feature a 10-core CPU with a 3.3 GHz prime core, 2x larger cores clocked at 2.75 GHz, 5x larger cores clocked at 2.36 GHz, and 2x efficiency units clocked at 1.8 GHz. Samsung’s flagship in-house chip is also expected to feature the Xclipse 950 GPU with AMD RDNA architecture.
The latest report suggests that the Exynos 2500 will enter mass production as early as 2025. Samsung is reportedly aiming to produce 229.4 million smartphones in 2025, with the Z Fold7 said to come in at 3 million units, while the rumored Z Flip FE is said to come in at 900,000 units. ,
