This means the Galaxy S26 will launch a full month later than the Galaxy S25 generation, which was announced on January 22, 2025. According to speculations, the February launch is due to a last-minute call by Samsung to cancel the Galaxy S26 Edge and replace it with the Galaxy S26+.

The Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra are expected to come with higher price tags than their predecessors in some markets.
