Fortnite is still not available for iOS users for no apparent reason | Infinium-tech
Even though the Epic Games won a decisive court battle with Apple earlier this month, but allowed Fortnite to be accessible through Apple’s official app store, the game still did not return to iOS. According to Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeny, there is no reason for Apple to delay the review process.
Each app undergoes a comprehensive review before being published on the app store, and it seems that Apple’s review team is deliberately shutting down on Fortnite, despite the court’s decision, to allow the epic games to offer an external payment system to offer an external payment system that does not go through Apple.
The dispute began in 2020 when the Epic Games introduced a version of the app that included an external payment system, violating Apple’s rules, which restrictions the payment methods bypassing the payment system of Apple.
The court has since ruled in favor of the epic sports. Of course, Apple appealed for the most recent decision and is asking the court to stop the change in any app store until the court takes its final decision.
