You also get Genmoji – “Gen” and “moji” for “generative AI”, well, you know. These can also be based on text prompts, and can be based on images of you, your friends, family, etc.
Siri has received ChatGPT integration. If Siri can’t answer your question itself, it will ask for your permission to delegate the request to ChatGPT. You do not need a ChatGPT account for this.
For the iPhone 16 family, there’s also Visual Intelligence, which gives you information about what’s around you – you just need to open the camera and point it at something. Visual Intelligence additionally reads text aloud, detects phone numbers and addresses to add to contacts, copies text, and summarizes text.
Apple Intelligence now supports localized English in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, and the UK. Note that there is a waiting list for access to Genmoji, Image Playground, and Image Wand (which turns a sketch into an image).
