Apple’s AirPods 4 don’t even ship with a USB-C charging cable | Infinium-tech
A few years ago, Apple stopped shipping charging adapters with its phones, starting a trend that isn’t going away. Now, it’s removed yet another thing from its boxes: the charging cable.
The recently announced AirPods 4 and AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation (what a name!) don’t even have a cable in the box, let alone a charger. This information is official and confirmed by Apple itself Its specific page For new earbuds.
So, we’re wondering what’s next. Will the AirPods 6 spec page say “Charging case (USB-C) sold separately”? At this rate, would that really be surprising?
All jokes aside, pulling a tiny USB cable out of the box does seem less annoying than pulling out a charger, but it’s another step toward making the unboxing experience for electronics incredibly monotonous.
Anyway, you can do it Pre-order both AirPods 4 models Now, they are set to start shipping on September 20, the same date for the iPhone 16 family.
