iOS 18 beta 5 comes in at 2GB and brings a new modem update for better connectivity. Safari on iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia is getting a new Distraction Control feature that allows you to hide annoying pop-up ads from the Options menu.
The Photos app now has a new layout that removes the carousel view, as well as a new Customize and Reorder option that allows you to manage your photo collection.
There is a new Edit Page option on the home screen. The Maps and Find My app icons have been updated with a new design. The icons in Control Center now have a more transparent design.
New software releases also include bug fixes and general improvements. As always, it is not advisable to install beta software on your primary device and you should always backup your data before installing it.
