Apple releases iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3, both support easier migration to Android | Infinium-tech
Today, Apple has released the latest version of iOS and iPadOS, labeled 26.3. It comes with dozens of security fixes, including a fix that was being actively exploited, and that’s the only reason to install the update as soon as possible.
iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 also include a tool to easily switch to Android, which makes moving to another ecosystem as seamless as possible, and does not require the use of a special app to transfer your data.

The transfer process supports transferring photos, messages, notes, apps, passwords, phone numbers and more. The EU took credit for both Apple and Google working this way to make it easier to switch between their mobile operating systems. However, we still have to note that Google and Apple were only required to add this functionality in the EU, but they chose to make it available worldwide.
iOS 26.3 also includes a setting to limit carrier location tracking for devices that use Apple’s C1 or C1X modem, but it only works with a select few carriers worldwide, including Boost Mobile in the US, EE and BT in the UK, and Telekom in Germany.
