Apple Maps now available on the web (in beta) | Infinium-tech
Nearly twelve years after its initial launch on iOS, Apple Maps is now available in beta form on the web. Apple announced its expansion with a brief press release and you can now try out Apple Maps on your Mac or PC. beta.maps.apple.com From your browser. It’s currently supported on Safari, Chrome, and Edge on Mac and Windows.
The experience is very similar to iOS and you can search for addresses, get driving and walking directions, as well as information about businesses like phone numbers, business hours, and payment options.
Look Around, which is an alternative to Street View on Apple Maps, and other Apple Maps features available on mobile are coming to the web version in the coming months. Apple is also working on bringing Apple Maps to more regions, additional browsers, and platforms.
