Apple is working on a visionOS version for smart glasses | Infinium-tech
According to the latest report by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple’s Vision Pro Headset has been a flop. One reason is its price, uncertainly, the other is “its cumbersome design”.
So Apple is now looking at the future and the next big thing, and apparently is smart glasses. Thus, the company is currently working on a version of Visionos that is for smart glasses.
It makes sense to use the same OS that gives strength to the vision Pro, but the bad news is that Apple Smart Glasses are clearly three years away, or even more.
Apple allegedly wanted to come out with a pair of smart glasses as a follow -up of the Vision Pro, so possibly within a year or two, but “technical challenges were still very good”.
So now Apple wants to bridge the gap between the Vision Pro and Smart Glasses by releasing other devices in the style of “Vision Pro and Vision Pro” which will be cheaper and thus expected to be more seductive to consumers. However, this year is unlikely to ship.
