Apple Intelligence release date outed, new hardware is coming too | Infinium-tech
Apple launched iOS 18 last month without a headline set of features called Apple Intelligence. So now we’re left to wait for iOS 18.1, where the first batch of Apple Intelligence content will finally make its debut — though a far cry from what Apple unveiled at its developer conference in June. Depending on its price, many features will be extended by 2025.
Still, it will be exciting when the first few news from Apple Intelligence come out, and according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, that will happen on October 28, when iOS 18.1 is set to be released (presumably alongside iPadOS 18.1).
Gurman says Apple is taking its sweet time with the rollout to make sure major bugs are ironed out and it can support all the new traffic on its AI cloud servers. Apple knows that everyone with a compatible device will start testing new features immediately, and the spotlight will be on its delivery, so hopefully it will all work out fine.
Rumor has it that on November 1, Apple will launch a low-end 14″ MacBook Pro with M4 chip, high-end 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro with M4 chips, a new Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro chips, a refreshed iMac An M4 chip, and a refreshed iPad Mini should all be announced a few days earlier, in late October.
Then, in the first half of 2025, Apple will release 13″ and 15″ MacBook Air models with M4 chips, a new iPhone SE, refreshed 11″ and 13″ iPad Air models with a new Magic Keyboard, and an upgraded AirTag.
