Apple highlights four short films shot on iPhone 16 Pro Max and edited on MacBook Pro | Infinium-tech
The Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image (MAMI) has selected the four up-and-and-come-in-creators filmed on the second Mami Select: iPhone program. This year, Mami’s producers will film on the iPhone 16 Pro Max and M4 will edit footage on maximum-operated MacBook professionals.
The inaugural edition of Mami Selection was a success with her two short films with her two short films who have earned praise from Best Short Film, Best Director (Short Film) and Best Writing (Short Film).
The four filmmakers selected for this year’s Mami Chuninda are Amrita Bagchi, Rohin Ravendron Nair, Chanakya Vyas and Shalini Vijayakumar. He will be advised by writer, director and actor Konakona Sen Sharma and several other icons in the Indian film industry.

Rohin Ravendron Nair, director, writer and cinematographer are taking advantage of the compact size of iPhone compared to traditional cameras and their short films, CovalentA typewriter is filmed from the point of view (the film is described as “story of love with magical realism”).

Interestingly, Nair has chosen film scenes from the typewriter in a 4: 3 aspect ratio to make them feel like paper, while landscape shots will be in the ratio of cinematic 2: 1.
