Apple announces M3 iPad Airs | Infinium-tech
Apple today unveiled its latest iPads with 11 “and 13” iPad Air (2025), receiving Apple M3 chip. They are connected to the new baseline iPad (2025), with an updated A16 bionic chipset and 128GB base storage. The new chipsets are the only meaningful addition to the new iPad trio.
Air 11 “and 13” models get M3 series chip (8-core CPU, 9-core GPU, 16-core NPU) that replaces M2 in the previous year’s model. SOC is paired with 8GB RAM. Apple says that M3 iPad Airs M1 offers 2x faster performance compared to iPad Air, which was launched back in 2022. We do not get the same details compared to the M3 AIRS comparing M3 AIRS from last year.

The remaining specs are in line across the board with last year’s iPad Air, including screen size, display resolution, and refresh rates, which are still cap on 60Hz. You get a pair of 12MP cameras, Apple Intelligence and USB-C 3.1 connectors. Apple did not update Wi-Fi 6E or Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The touch ID is still present inside the power button.
The other new bit updated magic keyboard is now a large trackpad and a new line of the function keys.
