Android 16 will bring a new anti-theft feature to phones not made by Google and Samsung | Infinium-tech

Google’s identity check anti-chori security facility arrived at its pixel with December 2024 pixel feature drop, and Samsung has already included it in one of its UI 7 based on Android 15. But for every other Android device, it will only appear as part of the Android 16 update.

So here is this. If you enable it, the identity check will ask before changing important safety settings for your biometrics or allowing access to passwords and other sensitive data. Samsung was in a hurry to include it in a UI7, and other OEMs would add to their Android 16 update with expectation.
